"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,..." Matthieu 28:19 NIV

Evangeline NSIMIRIMANA is from Holy Spirit Revival Church- Kabezi Parish, one of our partner church located in Kabezi commune of Rural Bujumbura.

Married to NGENDAKUMANA Leonard, the couple has two children. Evangeline is one of the laureates of the first principles who did the first series of the teachings. As she said, she could not see the importance of following the training because she was among those who think that the word of God cannot be learnt.

Although she had taken that position, Evangeline had shortcomings in her faith until she followed the training. Before, she used to think that evangelism was just for pastors or bold believers, but she understands now it’s a command for every disciple. Now, she sees the people around her not just as sinners or simply friends, but as souls needing the truth. She actually shares the Gospel regularly, and though it’s not always easy, according to her, she does it with joy and purpose, knowing that it pleases God.

Another area of transformation in Evangeline’s life has been the marriage. As she told us, the teaching on biblical relationships helped her understand the role God has given her as a wife. she realized she had not always honored or respected her husband in the way God desires. Through repentance and the support of her discipling relationships, she’s learned to speak with kindness, to support her husband, and to trust in God’s design for marriage. As She changed, she noticed a peace and love growing in their home to the extent she hadn’t experienced before.
Evangeline thanks God for the First Principles training. It has helped her become not just a believer, but a true disciple—committed to spreading the Good News and building a God-honoring home. She is excited to continue growing and helping others do the same."
